Our monthly lunch with homeless families at a local homeless shelter.Thank to our wonderful volunteers for their hard work today and community for their in kind donation.Teamwork makes this project happen each month.

Alhamdulillah today was so busy and so much fun. We were so busy we forgot to take a group photo We would like to thank this months sponsor who wishes to stay anonymous. ”they” sponsored the food, drinks, snacks, sweets, fruits, craft, school supplies & diapers. Thank you to all who volunteered today & and for the family who donated additional fruit, school supplies & diapers.Thank you Yapi Mediterranean Subs and Sandwiches for making the delicious halal food and always giving us big discounts so we can afford to get everything we need on a small budget.Thank you to the community for clothes and toys donations. It takes team work to make this happen each much so come and join us last Saturday of each month. Next one is 9/24/22 11:30am-1:00pm

Announcement

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our monthly Homeless Shelter event will have to be cancelled. Yappi’s has been very gracious, and has offered to deliver the food to the shelter regardless. Thank you everyone who has offered to volunteer, and we hope that you can make it to the next one. A Big Thank You to @Thank you A&D Dispatching Services LLC for sponsoring the Food for this event.

Thank you A&D Dispatching for sponsoring todays meal. Thank you 3rd Grade class at Gotsch Intermediate School - Affton School District for the hygiene products. Thank you Yapi Mediterranean Subs and Sandwiches for always helping us out and giving us the best price for catering. The food is always super delicious. Families are always coming for seconds. Also we would like to thank our wonderful volunteers who could be enjoying this beautiful day elsewhere but they chose to spend it with us doing some good deeds.

Today we served a delicious hot meal for the families at a local homeless shelter. We also brought hygiene products, clothes, shoes and toys.Many of the volunteers were fasting but that did not stop them from being here today and helping out. Thank you.

Community coming together for a greater good.

Big thank you to Midwest BankCentre for sponsoring todays food and AJ Wellness Pharmacy for bringing their employees and family memebers to help us out.

It was a full house and we had so much fun. We had our usual volunteers and new volunteers working together and meeting families also new and ones we have seen before at the shelter.

We had delicious burgers and fries from Yapis.

We also shared other goods & necessities with the families which were donated by the community.

Truly this project would not be possible if it wasn’t for all of you. Thank you all!

After over a year of restrictions, we are finally able to go back to the old way of things. We are able to provide a buffet style hot meal for the homeless families at Gateway 180 Shelter.

Words cannot express our excitement to be able to interact with our friends and volunteers. We are limited to 10 volunteers, so please if you would like to join us next month send us a message.

Today we brought: rice, veggies, chicken, salad, sweets, chips, drinks, clothes, toys & baby items.

Our monthly outreach!

We took hot meals for 100 people, drinks, fruits, toys, clothes, shoes & hygiene products.

Monthly lunch at Gateway 180 Homless shelter.

As always we have so much fun with the staff and families at the shelter. We look forward to our visits each 4th Saturday of the month.

We brought fresh hot food, drinks, hygiene products, laundry detergent & softener, toys, shoes, clothes, books, blankets and brand new winter jackets.

All this is possible thanks to our donors and volunteers. Community working together for a greater good.

Today’s visit to one of our favorite place, Gateway 180 homeless shelter.

We are so happy to share with our homeless friends. We provided 100 hot meals for women and children. Also, brought clothes, books, toys, water, hygiene products, diapers, wipes, new undergarments & socks for the kids.

Today we delivered a hot meal for 100 people at Gateway 180 Homeless Shelter. Besides a meal we brought water, nonperishable items, hygiene products, clothes..shoes..& toys for the kids.

We were able to proved a hot meal, sweets, water, candy, clothes, shoes, blanket, toys, book, personal hygiene products, laundry detergent & boxed food to women and children at a local homeless shelter.

We always look forward to seeing our friends last Saturday of each month.

Things have changed because of covid19 Our monthly meal with the homeless families at Gateway 180 shelter is so different now. Since January of 2017 we have been providing a home style/ buffet style lunch for 120-150 individuals at the shelter. Sharing a meal & stories. Our volunteers look forward to spending times with these families. We ate, played, cuddle babies, and had a good time but now we can only bring the stuff to the shelters in order to protect the families and the volunteers. Things are done differently now but we still provide same help. We still bring fresh food, clothes, shoes, blankets, toys, hygiene products and baby items. We are still super excited to share little we have with the people we care about.

July 26 •

Finally our monthly meal for the families at Gateway 180 Homeless Shelter resumes 7/25/20. Things were little bit more different due to Covid19 and restrictions but it felt really good to be back. We were able to feed 100 people: chicken, rice, salad, bread, apples and drinks. Also, we brought clothes, shoes, toys, hygie products, diapers and wipes. Big thank you to LiUNA Local 110 for sponsoring the food, our amazing volunteers Sanita Hozdic, Muamer Mustafic, Sara Dedic, Nermana Huskic, Elma Saric & Vildana Kanlic. Thank you Saudina Korkaric for the apples, community for donating clothes &toys and Yapi restaurant for preparing the food.
